Truck Processing:
Unloading and processing inbound trucks, which is a major event that can occupy a full shift.
Inventory Management:
Conducting physical inventory counts, reconciling data, and managing inventory levels to ensure accuracy.
Sales Floor Operations:
Replenishing product on the sales floor, setting up planograms (product displays), and making price changes.
Team Leadership:
Training, coaching, and evaluating logistics team members, providing feedback, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Operational Compliance:
Ensuring adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards, including Loss Prevention policies.
Store Maintenance:
Maintaining the physical condition of the store and equipment, and inspecting work areas for hazards.
Leadership Duties:
Serving as the Leader on Duty (LOD) and assisting with closing and opening procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
Leadership and Teamwork:
Strong ability to coach and motivate a team, and collaborate with other departments.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in inventory management systems and skilled in using handheld devices for scanning and tracking.
Customer Service:
Ability to assist customers and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Operational Knowledge:
Understanding of warehouse operations, safety standards, and the ability to maintain an organized and efficient store.
