Summary

I strive to do my best at every job I've had. Anything I can learn to add to my work knowledge makes me a better asset to the company. I look out for others around me and pass my own knowledge onto them to make everyone's lives easier. A company runs best if everyone works together. Any suggestions I have, I pass up the ladder to help the company in areas they may not see every day, as I do. I wish to be an asset to my company, to ensure the successful growth of the company while maintaining a safe environment. I have a great connection with people, as well as a great sense of humor, which is why I think people enjoy my company. I am an extremely polite, patient, and professional person.

I'm 37 years old and a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, with an associate's degree in applied science, in Drafting and Design. I have five years' experience as a 2nd shift production supervisor of a team of 20+ team members for Industrial Pallet Corporation in Remington, Indiana. I worked there for nearly eight years total, five of which I was a production supervisor. I attended Purdue University for three years, studying for a bachelor's degree in applied science, majoring in landscape architecture. I was born and raised in Rensselaer, Indiana, and currently reside there as well. I purchased a house about ten years ago in Rensselaer. I have a beautiful fiancé named Nicole, and she has two boys named Kaden and Joshua. In my younger years, I moved to Bloomington, Indiana, to attend Ivy Tech and obtained my associate's degree in applied science. I majored in drafting and design, mainly on the mechanical side of drafting. After that, I moved to West Lafayette, Indiana, to attend Purdue University to study landscape architecture. I have two semesters left to finish my degree there.

  • Ted Hopper, Industrial Pallet, 1 (219) 869-4629, Ted is a semi truck driver for the company I currently work for. We met based through work and have become friends over the years. He knows how much I take pride in my job, and will tell you I outwork anyone in the factory. He keeps me grounded and humbled.
  • Andrew Hernandez, Industrial Pallet, 1 (830) 491-0226, Andrew was my shift supervisor in the past for second shift. He started the same time I did and we were both on the same shift for about a year or two. Anytime I need help he is there to assist me, he is a very calm and collected person. He has seen my work, first hand, more than any other person. Andrew and myself were both on the same playing field. We worked together to ensure things get done on both of our shifts. We still get along great, never disagreed, and worked like a team should. He was always great to bounce ideas off of and gives me good feedback. Unfortunately he left our company to pursue other careers. We still stay in contact though from time to time. He knows the amount of work we had to endure, and can back up my resume.
  • Kevin Gillespie, Industrial Pallet, (765) 490-0403, Kevin was the plant manager for Industrial Pallet in Remington a few years back. He has showed a lot of respect for the guys who worked for our company while he was there, and made many changes to improve our company as well. I worked with him on a daily basis to see first hand how he presents himself as a leader and role model. We worked on production planning and went over the day to day operations before my shift started. He was the type of manager I strive to be. Unfortunately he also left our company to be with his family more, and do a job that he loved. We still remain in contact, and he knows how hard of a worker I am.
  • Mike Gentry, Industrial Pallet, (219) 208-0207, Mike was my boss when I started at IPC up until a few years ago when he retired. He has been very supportive of me, and always passed any knowledge he had on to me. I strived to make him happy and produce on my shift to make his life as stress free as it could be. He had a lot to deal with and I tried to be someone he can count on day in and day out to do my job without being told to do so. He retired after 30 years of being plant manager, and I wouldn't have my current title without him. We still talk on occasion, and he knows how hard I worked when I was employed by him.
