- Assisted in live data acquisition and monitoring for a neutron-transmission magnetic-moment experiment at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), searching for mirror-sector neutrons using a neutron-regeneration technique at the High Flux Isotope Reactor.
- Conducted research as part of a joint University of Tennessee–University of Kentucky group led by Dr. Yuri Kamyshkov (UTK Department of Physics & Astronomy).
- Contributed to the optimization of waveform parameters and supported software/hardware development for generating a linearly damped sinusoidal degaussing current applied to the experiment’s Mu-metal magnetic shielding.
- Leading efforts to reconstruct the experiment’s magnetic-field environment through three-dimensional modeling and innovative coordinate-mapping techniques.
- Performing novel probing and characterization of a large powered solenoid to evaluate Mu-metal shielding performance when functioning as a magnetic yoke.
