Summary
Talented machinist with 8 years total experience, all on the job training. I'm well versed in assembling and disassembling the equipment i was entrusted to run. Lathes are certainly my strong suit as I've run several horizontal, 2 axis machines. These include fanuc (80's daewoo) and Okuma (LB35 and LB45) controls as my primary machines while at MetalTek. We were also in charge of insepecting our own parts to ensure quality, before verifying dimensions with QA and shipping a part out the door. My milling experience comes from Mill-Rite where i ran two different vertical mills (VF1 and VF4). I was also entrusted to sandblast, inspect, powder coat, drill press, and tap all my own parts. On top of the CNC aspect i also participated in several different 5S and CI groups while at Metaltek that improved effectivity from not only a production standpoint but fiscally as well. I'm a team player that has the experience and willingness to learn new things in order to benefit the company and exceed expectations.
