
After graduating college, hopes to teach American Sign Language as a second language at the secondary level. Began working at age 14 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Has completed volunteer work in the Deaf community (50 hours total) and over 150 hours of teaching experience. Performance experience from a young age involving singing, dancing, public speaking, and occasional instrument playing. Involvement in both church and school choir for several years along with musical theater experience as part of ensemble, crew, and a handful of lead roles.
Entertainment for guests at the Great Wolf Lodge resorts. Events included arts and crafts, interactive story time, dance parties, and mascot appearances. Interacted with children and families from all walks of life, fostering a fun environment while they were on vacation. Often a major factor in guest enjoyment due to the up-close personal nature of the interactions with guests, meaning friendly appearances were a must. Gained experience in customer service, problem solving, independence, and stage presence.
Stocking, tagging, and organizing shelves of merchandise while striking up conversations with customers and helping them find items within their interests. Handled both cash and credit transactions at the register and encouraged customers to sign up for rewards programs to save money. Provided recommendations for customers based on known interests.
