As a student, I volunteer to help at events in which my school classes and clubs participate, both in and out of school. For instance, both Ap Art and Art club both often share the same volunteer events, like

• Contributing donations to food drives
• Supporting cancer research by setting up and coordinating a Relay for Life event
• Provide entertainment through face painting at a football game to support our local alumni association

Another club I've played an active role in is Native Club, By Managing

• Concessions.
• Serving food for guests.
• Set up and Clean up at Powwow events.
• Engaged with children through reading sessions at a preschool.
• Operated booths selling apparel and snacks to support our school club initiative during events.

These are just some examples I have to offer of how I help out my school and community.

• With the tribe my family is part of many of the positions in there like one of my uncles helps run the education department, my aunt was recently promoted to a higher job and just stuff liker this. My family is a big part of the community so at least one of us is always at an event that the tribe is hosting either in attendance or as part of the workers. So my mom often has me and my brother volunteer to either set up stuff, clean up, help distribute the food, run errands and move stuff around, just stuff like this.
