4. Performs test calibrations and runs Quality Control material at appropriate intervals

5. Responsible for performing preventive maintenance and /or calibration of laboratory equipment and properly document any action taken 

6. Evaluates the acceptability of routine analysis prior to releasing patient reports.Takes appropriate action in response to critical values and unusual or unexpected results, and documents action taken 

7.Demonstrate ability to communicate test results effectively with physicians and nursing staff.

8. Demonstrates a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.

9. Maintain compliance with CLIA, OSHA , Joint Commission Accreditation,  Safety and Management guidelines.
