• Each summer, I volunteer with Challenge Aspen, for example, the Music and Dance Camp, the summer activities like biking and going to the lake, or even around the office.

• Mowed neighbors' lawns every/every other weekend during the summer

• Supported clients with disabilities in finding jobs, applying to jobs, navigating their community, communicating with their bosses, managing money, getting paid, completing job tasks, and gaining skills to be a good employee. The primary goal was to support clients in achieving independence. Worked this paid internship for two summers.

I was paired with an individual with disabilities and spent the week running lines, dancing, singing, and practicing to put on a final play. Connected, supported, and made friendships with other volunteers and participants.

• I meal prepped, ran the cash register, learned about customer service, mopped floors, swept, washed dishes, wiped tables, answered phones, and took orders. I also learned teamwork through collaboration with the kitchen staff. I worked this job for around two summers and worked one day a week during the school year.

• I volunteered through Colorado Rocky Mountain School with English in Action. Here, I tutored Spanish speakers who were learning English and preparing to take their English proficiency test. Every Wednesday on Zoom, I would go over activities and modules with the English learners with my classmates.
