As a CSR/Licensed Insurance Agent my duties included assisting clients in person and over the phone. Many times needing to multitask between both in person and clients on the phone. I would create policies for each individual client insuring their needs where met and client had a full understanding of the insurance coverages they were purchasing. In addition to this, my duties included keeping inventory of the office and placing orders for any necessary items. Handling of the cash box, keeping accountability for all the payments collected in office, closing and handling deposits at the end of the night. Cleaning duties were also part of the job, and were equally distributed within myself and coworkers. As the years passed I began having more duties and responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures, de escalating clients, bringing back clients who had previously left the company, and marketing.
My current duties for the past years have consisted of verifying information requested by multiple agencies, handling multiple data entry requests. Ensuring client’s application as handled with the proper care to avoid any potential problems with their cases.
