CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION

• Piloted programs for 9-12 grade curriculum ranging from literature, writing, psychology, and public speaking in which strategic partnerships were formed with various higher education institutions.
• Contributed to the Hudson County Curriculum Consortium development of county-wide, research-based practices to enhance student achievement.

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

• Developed dual-enrollment partnerships with higher education institutions including Syracuse University, and Hudson County Community College to enhance opportunities and meet standards of college and career readiness.
• Developed strategic school-wide objectives to meet the needs of stakeholders as Middle States Accreditation Co-Chair via Accreditation for Growth (AFG) standards. The school was able to reach their objectives prior to the seven-year time frame.

DATA ANALYSIS

• Analyzed local and state data to report findings to key stakeholders to inform of changes to curriculum and teaching strategies which are necessary to adhere to and exceed state mandates.
• Evaluated longitudinal and cross-sectional data and reports in order reach (AFG) national standards.

COACH/MENTOR

• Coaching students in activities, including Colorguard, Music, and Band. Responsible for scheduling and planning season routines and events; maintaining budget of equipment and supplies.
• Mentor first-year staff members as they plan, implement, and reflect on best practices to achieve successful reviews by the administration.

MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP

• Organized Annual Health Fair, among other events, with community members to engage in healthy mind, body, and spirit practices.
• Co-Chaired Middle States Accreditation Committee which managed various sub-committees in all stages of the seven-year objective.
