As a Radio Equipment Repairer in the Army, I was entrusted with the critical responsibility of maintaining and repairing advanced communication systems, ensuring reliable and secure communication for military operations. My key duties included diagnosing and troubleshooting faulty radio equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing both portable and vehicle-mounted radio systems. • Repaired and maintained mechanical equipment such as radios, night-vision goggles, transceivers, and communication devices
• Perform or supervise essential preventive maintenance checks and services on radios, transmitters, communication security equipment, and other associated equipment to ensure secure communication is always available
• Calibrate and align equipment components, and use test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment
• Test program sets and use interactive electronic technical manuals in order to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Provided training sessions for other service members on proper installation techniques for connecting two or more radios on the same frequency

• Reassembled equipment, completing inspections, testing or repairs.
