Taught age appropriate art techniques which were showcased in a schoolwide art show in May. Also taught music and movement and organized all holiday and graduation programs.

Lead teacher in the two, three, and four year old classrooms. Created non-traditional developmentally appropriate instructional activities while utilizing positive discipline techniques and appropriate remediation to maximize learning.

Implemented developmentally appropriate curriculum for physically challenged and developmentally delayed preschool-aged children in a self-contained environment. Documented progress of yearly goals and objectives culminating in a yearly IEP review and update. Collaborated with occupational, physical, and speech therapists as well as parents to maximize progress.

Supervised classroom of two-year-old children, graduate level practicum students, and teaching assistants in a child-centered environment while promoting positive discipline. Collaborated daily with a team of early childhood professionals and parents to maximize the learning potential for the children as well as the practicum students.
