Ezgi Tasdemir

I have spent a majority of my life working with all kinds of animals and am extremely comfortable and knowledgeable around a variety of animals. I am skilled at handling many animals and understand what helps keep them calm and happy. I'm also genuinely more in tune with animals than most people because of the experiences I have sought out through my life and extremely proactive in animal well being. There is absolutely no task too big or small for me and my love and interest in animals is what has me back in school with a pre-vet concentration. I do also own cats, dogs, and a wolfdog of my own and have been involved in cat and dog rescue since a very young age.

• Learned about and worked with a variety or rescue monkeys
• Fed animals as well as prepared specific diets according to the classification of monkey
• Prepared a variety or enrichment tools and monitored monkeys abilities on figuring out how to use the tools
• Cleaned and maintained all enclosures
• Walked, bathed, and fed rescue elephants
• Prepared medicine into elephant's meals
• Build safe enrichments for the elephants
• Collected elephants feces and prepared it into manure for planting
• Harvest banana trees for elephants and monkeys

Cheetah Experience - Animal Husbandry Volunteer

Bella Bella (9/2021) & Bloemfontein (2019)

• Fed animals and provided species specific nutrients and medicine
• Cleaned animal enclosures
• Learned how to properly butcher already dead animals for the wild cats
• Sanitized meat room work stations in order to prevent the spread of diseases

KACUV (Children with cancer Association)

Istanbul - 2010

• Received hands on training on how to safely work with children at high rish of infection
• Worked in guest house to make sure housing for low income families with patients was adequetely prepared
• Visited children in the hospital where we either played games with them or provided education help (depending on the child's age)
