• Led a small team of technical subject matter experts to design, test, and qualify a new durable A/R optical coating for our flagship product. Supported system requirement decomposition, trade studies, test planning, troubleshooting, data analysis, action tracking, program schedules, Technical Interchange Meetings with our immediate customer and end users, and co-authored final test reports (2021-2023).
• Led the engineer effort to prototype, build, and test an optical beam expander for a laser communication terminal (2020).
• Delivered on a R&D Project to create a Matlab based application that reads interferometric height data and computes the Areal Power Spectral Density (APSD) per ISO standards with user defined spectral analysis features (2019).
• Completed the design of four optical IR objective lenses for our Business Development department (2018).
• Currently supporting residual development efforts, Root Cause Corrective Actions, and assessing production readiness levels of an optical heat seeking nose cone assembly for a missile program.
• Currently supporting the optical sensitivity analysis and test/alignment procedure of a Pechan Prism with a tight boresight requirement.
