  • After leaving Norwest I decided to start my own contracting business
  • Although I did take some other work my company was my primary responsibility
  • I contracted myself to do an assortment of different repair and installation work mostly wood work repair, but I did pretty much any kind of repair you could think of
  • From gutting a home to prepare it for a remodel
  • To installing mitigation systems
  • Unfortunately I dislocated my shoulder pretty bad
  • After a few months I went to work for Holden/Ful Circle.

  • When I first started this position I was simply a check processer/sorter
  • Shortly before my first year was over I was promoted to the position of work director
  • I was responsible for all facets of scheduling
  • Including time off and final approval at the end of pay period
  • As well I was responsible for any staff disciplinary action along with my manager
  • I ran and maintained all sorting/scanning equipment
  • Predominantly NCR's and a couple of OPEX's
  • Went over any errors made on the deposits
  • Then made any adjustments as needed
  • Assisted in remittance and distribution to help them maintain deadlines
  • Dialoged with other department leads to assure smooth work flow
  • As well, work closely with the technicians when our equipment needed maintenance or repair
  • Via e-mail and computer logs I made daily reports on what the day brought to us
  • These various reports included details on varies issues, work flow status, any problems or issues with equipment, how long we were down do to any issues
  • Whether we missed any deadlines do to any issues, and if any deposit corrections were made.

  • I started in cashiering Holdon as a scanner in, the beginning of January 2009
  • During that time I became familiar with the caging procedures and learned the Remit plus program
  • Helping out with the rest of the cage is what I did when I wasn't receiving in work or running the scanners
  • This allowed me to run almost all the equipment that was available at one time or another
  • I stayed on track with my supervisor letting him know any problems I had, and totals for the counts for work received in
  • In January 2009, when I was laid off for the season I was asked to work out the rest of my week helping in the warehouse
  • I then became a seasonal employee there until Holdon sold the company and Ful Circle became a company during the summer of 2009
  • At that time I became a full time employee
  • While I was in the warehouse I did pretty much anything there was to do
  • From receiving to shipping, picking orders, and packing
  • I felt that my managers felt comfortable to ask me to take on any task they needed done and know it would be done
  • During this time I also became very efficient in the operation of the electric pallet trucks and reach trucks
  • In September 2009, I went back into cashiering resuming my scanning duties
  • During that year, primarily scanned on the, 's and the Cannon's
  • As well, if I have time down I help with other caging responsibilities
  • I've also tried my best to help acclimate the new employees and help them in any way I could.
