The silver medal is awarded for having the most volunteer hours within a year of school. I volunteered at happy hands, the zoo's event for children who are deaf and have special needs, children's christmas party at asbury church, events within the collage as well as going to and picking up and taking people who are deaf to silent dinners, coffee's and other events. I spent many hours working as the secretary for the ASL club at NE TCC as well.
