Conduct individual medication management sessions with the members that include: dispensing and teaching about the side effects of the medication and what the medication is taken for.
Responsible for monitoring the health and safety of the members/patients and monitoring symptoms of the mental and physical illness and reporting any concerns to the appropriate person(s) and coordinating external referrals for medical conditional as needed.
Complete and document physical evaluations. screens, and assessments, complete and documents all specimen collections and ensure routine lab work is completed.
Responsible for alerting the DON and infection Control of all adverse reactions and occupational exposures.
Responsible for various services with staff such as drug screens, TB testing, first aid, and other duties as necessary.
Teach and provide health education and information to staff, i.e. recognizing emergencies, medication side effects, supervision of medication, Hepatitis B vaccine, occupational exposures, ETC.
