Care was provided to adults in a family practice setting, where emphasis was placed on refining skills necessary to function as a family nurse practitioner.
This practicum provided a broad experience that allowed application and integration of knowledge and skills acquired in prerequisite and co-requisite courses for the healthcare of women, infants, children, and adolescents. The theoretical knowledge from the classroom was applied to caring for women and children in the clinical settings.
