  • Did a lot of shop work also such as sweeping, throwing the trash , picking up trash, and also mowing the grass and weed eating.

  • Here I created a uniform program to help keep the uniform company, and employees from taking advantage of the company.
  • On average I saved the company upwards of $50,000 annually.
  • When the uniform company arrived and the driver would count all the dirty clothing turned in I in turn would write all these numbers down and put them into an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Then the next week when he returns with the clean clothing I would count that clothing, and I would write it down and put it into Excel spreadsheet.
  • The spreadsheet had a formula put into it that would show if anything was missing I could then print out a sheet and give it to the driver and show all of the employees who were missing items not brought back due to the uniform company.
  • I would also have to orientate new employees on the uniform program when they started I would have to explain to them how the uniform system worked and what was to be expected of them and how they should handle any problems they had when it came to the uniforms I did this in both English and Spanish.
  • I also handled all cell phone and cell phone bills I would issue phones to those who needed them and go over the cell phone bills each month to make sure that the cell phones aren't being abused and only being used for company purposes if I were to find if they were being abused we would get a hold on the proper employee sit down with them and explain what they did wrong and I would then charge them the necessary fees from their check
  • It was also my job to handle all fuel cards and to distribute them to anyone who needed one.
  • I also went over the fuel bills every month to make sure the no fuel cards were being abused for personal use if someone was found to be using the card for personal use they would be charged immediately from their next check and Terminated.
  • In all I had to keep up with 300 employees when it came to the uniform program I implemented.
  • I also had to run a weekly report so that I could show the progress being made, it was also my job to negotiate new contracts and pricing with the uniform company so we could get the best pricing possible.
  • Input data in Excel to create updated status reports for quick reference of project progress and deadlines.
