• Manage Subcontractor Costs and Agreements: Develop and administer subcontractor agreements, ensuring clear scope of work, payment terms, and performance expectations. Monitor subcontractor progress and costs, review invoices for accuracy, and manage payments according to contract terms. Negotiate change orders and resolve any cost-related disputes with subcontractors to protect the project's financial interests.
• Conduct Value Engineering and Cost Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization throughout the project lifecycle. Analyze design alternatives, material selections, and construction methods to identify potential cost savings without compromising quality or functionality. Collaborate with the engineering and construction teams to implement cost-effective solutions and improve overall project value.
• Ensure Compliance with Financial and Procurement Policies: Adhere to all company financial policies, procurement procedures, and regulatory requirements in the management of project costs and materials. Maintain accurate and auditable records of all financial transactions and material movements. Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance and implement any necessary recommendations for improvement in cost and materials management practices.
