Designed and maintain a personal IT lab to simulate enterprise-grade networking and security infrastructures.

• Network & Security: Built the home network with the Omada ecosystem (router, switches, APs), managed centrally through the Omada Controller. Configured VLAN segmentation, device monitoring, and network management. Implemented WireGuard VPN on Omada for secure remote access. Deployed OPNsense in transparent bridge mode to gain visibility into traffic, apply firewall rules, and prepare for future testing of IDS/IPS and additional plugins.
• Servers & Services: Managing Ubuntu Server and Proxmox to host internal services, with plans for external-facing services secured using a reverse proxy/load balancer. Integrated QNAP NAS as centralized storage and a database backend for the servers. Access and administration performed from a Fedora OS client in a separate subnet.
• Domain & Email Management: Own and manage multiple domains through Namecheap and Cloudflare, using them for DDNS remote access and custom email aliases to categorize and control communications.
• Hands-On Skills: Designing and configuring the entire network with VLANs and subnets, setting up VPNs, configuring servers with NAS storage, purchasing/onboarding domains into multiple systems, and installing/testing services in containers.
