I received my law degree and obtained a license to practice law within the Colombian jurisdiction in 2012, and I have engaged in litigation in criminal matters ever since. I completed a specialization in Criminal Law at the Universidad Santiago de Cali, which allowed me to deepen my knowledge of applied jurisprudential principles.
In 2020, I moved to Arizona, United States; in 2021, I attended the Institute of the Americas in Miami, where I studied Immigration Paralegal Studies. This experience enabled me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the U.S. immigration system and the necessary procedures for applying for various U.S. visa options. In 2023, I enrolled in an LL.M. program at the University of Puerto Rico, pursuing a Master's degree focused on the Anglo-American Adversarial Criminal Justice System. This academic pursuit has enriched my professional profile within the North American legal landscape; I am well-versed in the stages of the criminal process, litigation procedures, and—above all—the ethical guidelines governing the legal profession.
Currently, my license to practice as a Foreign Legal Consultant in the State of Arizona is pending approval.
