Current freshman at UNC Chapel Hill studying Psychology (B.S.) on a pre-medicine track in order to pursue psychiatry. Had academic and athletic success at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics where research and laboratory techniques were introduced and explored.
Served on a conduct board alongside staff members and administration in order to review cases where the student code of conduct was broken. Studied the school's policy and went through training in order to learn how to serve professionally and ethically during cases. Main task was to discuss the incident with the student, their family, and possibly an attorney then decide on a fair and proper consequence that adequately reflected their behavior but also aimed to prevent future misconduct.
Provided assistance to the psychology and sociology professor during my senior year at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. Helped the professor with grading exams and essays. Was a resource for students who needed help understanding the material outside of the classroom.
Tasked with quickly delivering orders in order to maintain customer satisfaction and relations through professional communication. Prepared cooking supplies and work stations to maximize productivity. Maintained high standards of cleanliness and organization to reduce kitchen accidents.
Spent over 80 hours interning under the museum's head curator. Main task was documenting inventory on collections of artifacts that included maps, medical records, letters, photos, books, deployment papers, and patches in order to improve the museum's digital accessibility and records. Also helped create display's by choosing relevant artifacts/information and educate the general public through tours.
