My position with Fort Campbell CYS is the role of a Training and Curriculum Specialist (TACS). In this position, I am responsible for quality control in the following areas: curriculum implementation, program management, teacher-child interactions and compliance with army regulations as it pertains to CYS early childhood education. I also coach, mentor and train staff on current trends and topics in early childhood education. I successfully support all training requirements for teachers in my assigned program.

My position at Hazelwood Elementary was for second grade. My work included implementing lesson plans/standards of learning. Collaboration with the second-grade team inspired my daily teaching goals. My position at Unity Christian Academy was a learning center supervisor. While supporting academic and spiritual growth for UCA students, I began my journey at Liberty University. My work at UCA afforded me the opportunity to initially start college with a scholarship (partnership between Liberty University and Accelerated Christian Education (ACE). I successfully supported students academically in both lower and upper-level grades. I also had the opportunity to successfully implement an English as a Second Language (ESL) curriculum for Korean students during their time at UCA. I left Unity Christian Academy to begin my student teaching.
