The Dimensional Engineering Technician is responsible for conducting precision measurements and inspections on parts, assemblies, and tooling to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This role supports manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance teams by providing accurate dimensional data, performing root cause analysis, and assisting in problem resolution.

• Understanding of drawings and CAD data, applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles for accurate measurement.
• Review and validate incoming supplier measurement reports to the CM4D portal page, PPAP submissions, and dimensional certifications for compliance.
• Program, set up, and run Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using software like PC-DMIS, Calypso, or PolyWorks.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to analyze dimensional descrepancies, assist with root cause investigations, and support corrective actions.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier Development to resolve issues and support production timelines.
• Provide feedback on part design, tolerancing, and manufacturability based on inspection data and trends.
