• Lifeguard: Supervise patron safety during open swim hours. Regular certified training for
• drowning rescue, accidents, drills, first-aid, CPR, AED, Oxygen, and Lifesaving. Determine
• students’ swim levels and instruct swimming and water safety to varying class sizes.
• Coordinate and teach private swim lessons. Document student progress for parents, handle
• patron complaints, and maintain a positive attitude toward customer service. Follow Red
• Cross standards for documentation. Part of team rotation to handle stress, maintain safety,
• and sustain morale.
• Certified Pool Operator: Maintain pool operations at 3 pools along with administrative duties.
• Trained to handle dangerous chemicals in compliance with health regulations and NSDA data
• sheets. Routinely inspect and maintain pool filtration systems, pumps, and chemical feeders.
• Water Safety Instructor (WSI): Instruct individuals how to be safe in, on and or around water.
• Using a logical progression as an instructor, teach people of all ages the knowledge and skills
• needed for aquatic skill development, which in turn, leads to safer and better swimmers.
• Responsible planning, organizing and providing quality swimming and water safety. WSI is a
• gold standard certification through The Red Cross

Private Business Owner/Operator: Managed business and finances, budgeting, inventory management, etc. Created homemade jewelry line, offered customized designs. Each year reserved venues to display and sell products. Donated jewelry to numerous nonprofit organizations as well as an entrepreneur local business.
