  • Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources and working with the Human Resources Unit of the organization, where my prime responsibilities included:
  • Maintaining a record of all AKF(P) vacancies and act accordingly to fulfill the positions and completing the recruitment procedures that included drafting adverts against vacant positions & coordinating the advertising agency, issuing interview call letters, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews as a panel member, preparing interview folders for the interview panel and facilitating the panel and candidates during the interview process.
  • Providing staff orientation to new employees; briefing every new employee on all AKF(P) policies and procedures; discussing the HR personnel manual & policies and briefing them about the administrative procedures in general.
  • Administrating payroll related coordination with the finance section that also included salary/benefits intimation for the new joining staff, leave encashment related matters; terminal benefits and payables or deductions at the time of resignation etc.
  • Preparing employment contracts and other contractual letters, which included completion of probationary period; extension of contracts; re-designations; annual increments; experience certificates, etc.
  • Liaising with other NGO's/INGO's regarding different policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintenance and regular update of personnel folders for the staff.
  • Assisting Manager in developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, long listing and forwarding the long listed applications to senior management for further short listing.
  • Managing the announcements on public holidays & special events; also updating the staff on strike/unforeseen holidays.
  • Coordinating the Annual Appraisals of AKF(P) staff.
  • Coordinating with training agencies regarding trainings of AKF(P) staff.
  • Maintaining leave records on a regular basis, updating the staff about their remaining leave balance and related matters.
  • Maintaining regular staff group life insurance, EOBI related matters; also securing timely electronic identity cards for new employees.
  • Coordinating with the staff leaving the organization for the final settlement, exit interviews and for clearance processes.
