Cover Letter

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am pleased to submit my resume and cover letter in response to the Registered Nurse position with Alberta Health Services. I recently completed my Bachelor of Nursing degree through Athabasca University and hold an active nursing permit. With a nursing career that began in 2018, I have developed a strong foundation of clinical knowledge, hands-on experience, critical thinking, and compassionate patient-centred care through my experience as both an LPN and RN.

Through my education, clinical placements, and professional experience, I have developed proficiency in a variety of clinical skills, such as drain removal, chest-tube care, urinary catheter insertion, and comprehensive head-to-toe assessments. My work experience as a clinical instructor, has provided me the opportunity to support and mentor nursing students in developing their clinical skills, confidence, critical thinking, and professional practice. This experience further strengthened my leadership, communication, and teaching abilities.

I value teamwork, continuous learning, and professional growth, and I would welcome the opportunity to contribute my skills and experience to Alberta Health Services.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I can be reached at (780) 394-7049 and look forward to the opportunity to discuss my application further.

Sincerely,

Farida Muradi
