I consider myself to be a self-starter, not afraid to work hard. I can adapt to new situations. I am compassionate and thoughtful. I try to see myself as the patient with each study. When the hospital is extremely busy I help co-workers if I can. I try to assist in the best outcome for my patients. One Of my strongest attributes is that I listen with a purpose.
I have currently been Lead Echo Tech for North Vista Hospital for ten years. I am responsible for scheduling and performing all adult echo's in the hospital. All echo's include color, doppler, and M-mode. Standard 2D measurements of chambers and other structures or anomalies. Valvular measurements, and Qp/Qs for shunts. All adult views are attempted. This facility is administering contrast to rule out Left ventricular thrombus or asses left ventricular function.
