- I took vitals and check a patient's blood sugar.
- I filled out patient's forms.
- Volunteering at the clinic taught me skills organization, filling out forms.
- I learned how to work more efficiently and quickly.
- I learned how to converse with patients, talking with them to keep them calm and to connect with them. It's helped me to have more understanding and patience towards them.
I did 100 hours of volunteer work at the library in high school. I helped with book keeping, set up activities and events for the youth, helped with puppet shows for kids. I also was involved in organizing and clean up duties.
My team and I's topic was Gastric Bypass Surgery. The trial we presented Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Using 3.0mg Liraglutide to Treat Weight Regain After Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery.
My team and I researched insomnia effects on cortisol levels in women with chronic PCOS, and how giving melatonin will improve their symptoms.
