  • Currently work from home, with little to no supervision processing 35 files (minimum) for settlement. Gather information from real estate offices, lenders, tax collectors, sewer/water authorities, etc. to make sure necessary information is compiled to produce accurate settlement statements, which breaks down all fees being charged to both buyer and sellers at closing.
  • While gathering information, address any issues/problems that develop, which could range from incorrect mortgage information to title insurance issues to conflicts between buyers and sellers.
  • Once information is gathered, enter into CORE
  • Prepare other documentation in CORE needed for settlement, such as deeds, affidavits, releases and 1099's.
  • Receive lender's package, which contains documents to be signed by buyer on their behalf. Check for accurate information and place it in settlement order.
  • Assist realtors, lenders and clients with questions and problems regarding upcoming settlements (i.e., lender conditions, fees, taxes, homeowners' insurance, etc.)
  • Constant communication with agents giving them status updates for their closing.
  • Besides updates also contact agents and let them know of any requirements, such as lender conditions or title binder requirements/issues that were discovered during title search.
  • Communicate with lenders daily exchanging information, such as fees, taxes and conditions associated with upcoming settlement.
  • Deal with clients (buyers and sellers) directly to obtain information, especially if no agents are involved.
