RENAL PROGRESSIVE CARE UNIT

NEURO PROGRESSIVE CARE UNIT

• Delivered specialized nursing care to patients with acute neurological conditions including stroke, seizures, traumatic brain injury and post op neurosurgical recovery.
• Monitored and assessed neurological status using NIH Stroke Scale, GCS and frequent neuro checks.
• Managed advanced airways, tracheostomies, central lines and external ventricular drains (EVDs).

MEDICAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

• Delivered critical care to patients with life threatening medical conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, multi-organ dysfunction and shock.
• Monitored and managed advanced airways, ventilators, central lines, arterial lines and other invasive devices.
• Administered and titrated vasoactive drips, sedation and continuous infusions per physician orders and protocols.

BURN MEDICAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

• Provide specialized critical care to patients with acute and complex burn injuries, including thermal, chemical and electric burns.
• Performed wound care, dressing changes and skin graft management with strict aseptic techniques.
• Administered and titrated pain management, sedation and vasoactive medications per physician orders.

MEDICAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

• Delivered critical care to patients with life threatening medical conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, multi organ dysfunction and shock.
