
Mr. Fullilove is a former United States Marine and Vietnam Veteran 1967-70. Returning home after military service, he went to work for the U.S. Government. After 14 years in the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, Philadelphia, Pa., he relocated to the Naval Submarine Base in Kings Bay, Georgia, as part of Trident Refit Faculty (TRF). He retired from TRF in 1999 after 30 years of Government service. He started a new career as a Police Officer with the Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) but in September 2011, he returned to Ship Repair with General Dynamics/Electric Boat Company. After 10 years of service, he retired once more. During his time at TRF and Electric Boat, Mr. Fullilove earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocational Education from Valdosta State University, as well as a Master of Science in Post-Secondary Education from Troy University. He has been a Substitute Teacher for Camden County school system at the Middle School in St. Mary’s and in Kingsland, GA. He has also been employed as an Adjunct Adult Education Instructor with Coastal Pines Technical College and is teaching the General Education Diploma program (GED). He has been teaching at the jail in Nahunta, GA., Glynn County jail in Brunswick, Ga. and at the Salvation Army in St. Mary’s, Georgia. Mrs. Fullilove last job was with the Glynn County Sheriffs Dept for the last 6 years as a Part Time depute at the court House, retiring March 2025. Mr. Fullilove has served as a Planning Board Commission Member for the city of Kingsland for over 21 years; Kingsland Development Authority over 16 years and Chairman Aging Services Advisory council for the Coastal Regional Commission. He has also served as Chairman of Partners in Education with TRF for 5 years. He is currently servicing in his 2nd term Elected City Council Men City of Kingsland. Mr. Fullilove and his wife Betty have six adult daughters who are all college graduates, and ten grandchildren, and one great-grand child. Both believe education is one of the keys to a good life, God being first. Farran attends Harbor Worship Center, and his wife First African Missionary Baptist Church in Kingsland, GA.
