An avid traveler. I love visiting and exploring other countries and learning about various cultures. I have spent time living abroad, and have visited around 30 countries spanning 6 continents. Traveling has led to opportunities such as, volunteering at a Global Youth Peace summit in Meru, Kenya. A three week gathering to help the youth of several African countries overcome negative perceptions, and break down barriers of tribalism. During my time in Buffalo NY, I was able to work alongside the founder of Project Monas House. An Anti-Human Trafficking Organization, and the first restoration home of Women in Western New York who have been trafficked. Also working with their adjacent program, The Young Women’s Empowerment Academy. These opportunities have further given me the ability to relate and communicate with a broad spectrum of people, while understanding the unique outlook of certain demographics.
