Fatoumata Bah

My name is Fatoumata Bah. I am a student at the University Of Cincinnati, Majoring in Cybersecurity. I was born in New York City. Moved to Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 10. I always had a passion for basketball and technology. I know the two don't sound right together but without one or the other something never felt right. I have developed interest in securing systems and networks against emerging cyber threats. Even though I never had real hands on experience in my major yet. I have taken the time to study and teach myself some of the basics. And the hands-on experience I've had through lab work, group project, and simulations has instilled a deep understanding of real-world security challenges.

• One of my big accomplishments is that I was the All Star player and captain on my basketball teams.
• Cared for 7 children all toddlers
• Supervised 4 special needs students enrolled in 6th grade.

Basketball is my escape from the world. I use it as a comping tool to take my mind off of whats bothering me in the moment. I read because is enjoyable. And I always loved to learn and understand new things. Reading helps my brain come with new knowledge everyday. And meditating helps me to relax myself. It always helps me remember that this world is just temporary and that there will always be something better waiting.

I am looking for an internship job that has to do with my major. Since I am just a freshman and don't have that much experience yet I want a company that will take a chance on me. And show me the aspects of technology. I want to learn how become a professional. Technology has been apart of my life for a long time, I believe is time for me to get in the field with it. Also maybe an internship that promises me a job even after college. I want to be an independent person while also helping my family.
