  • Company Overview: Wateen Telecom was a Dubai based Telecom Company which was laying optic fiber cable throughout Pakistan. It was also constructing field stations for housing the equipment and towers for accommodating the antennas.
  • My responsibility was to ensure the presence of security guards and their effectiveness at the project sites and at locations where cable laying work was in progress.

  • Company Overview: Safari Villas, a project of Bahria Town in Rawalpindi has around 300 villas in a walled housing community.
  • My responsibilities were to provide security services to the residences through armed/un-armed guards and maintenance services through a team of skilled plumbers, masons, carpenters, electricians and janitorial staff.

  • Company Overview: Worked with a private security company in Islamabad, Pakistan for 06 years. Handled a strength of around 1200 security guards. The company provided armed/ un-armed security guards at government/ corporate locations and private properties. The requirements met were:
  • Punctuality for transportation of guards at the detailed locations.
  • Discipline and alertness of the guards.
  • Patrol of buildings/compounds being guarded.
  • Regular checks of doors/windows/locks to prevent tempering.
  • Granting access to authorized personnel and log keeping of visitors and events/ occurrences.
  • Vigil on movement of vehicles.
  • Noting & reporting on leaking pipes, fire hazards, damaged access doors etc.
  • Coordinate with fire/police department and ambulances etc.

  • Served as an officer in the Navy for 28 years in the operations branch. Served as second-in-command of a destroyer class of ship with strength of around 20 officers and 350 other ranks. Also, commanded a Navy mine-countermeasure ship having a strength of 07 officers and 75 other ranks. These appointments provided me the following opportunities:
  • Ship handling in high seas / confined waters.
  • Administration, maintenance of discipline.
  • Security of men & material as well as protection of assets against risks of fire.
  • Knowledge of firefighting and damage control techniques is most essential onboard ships due to machinery operating at high temperatures and storage of fuel and ammunition.
  • For 15 years served in the naval aviation as a navigator and progressing to Tactical coordinator in the anti-submarine maritime patrol squadron. My naval aviation career culminated as Squadron Commanding Officer.
