Accomplishments
- I have had the opportunity to supervise teams of 5 to 60 staff members. Even when short staffed or when work loads were increased, we still accomplished all tasks effectively and safely.
- I created a proposal, and presented it to the sheriff, asking that deputies be allowed to wear pink badges and patches on their uniforms during the month of October to honor people affected by breast cancer. The proposal was accepted and our jurisdiction was the first in Southeastern Virginia to wear jurisdictional patches and badges in pink.
