1. Provide administrative support and guidance to the seized property program in the areas of commercial operation, inspections and investigative functions.
2. Implement and execute laws that prohibit the entry of illegal narcotics, goods and restricted merchandise.
3. Provide inventory, custody, management and disposition of seized and forfeited property within an area of jurisdiction.
4. Ensure all seizures are opened, verified, re-packed, and retained.
5. Provide members of the Headquarters Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) team with information regarding contractor's responsibilities and performance under the nation contract for storage and sale of seized property.
1. Accountable for unit's property book and oversees all logistical operations.
2. Manage unit property book in terms of request, receipt, issue, and maintenance of individual, installation, expendable/nonexpendable, and sensitive government properties.
3. Conduct routine inventory of sensitive and durable equipment in compliance with Command Supply Discipline Program.
4. Assist unit's Chain of Command in randomized inspections IAW the Army Regulation.
5. Provide logistic supports in terms of food, lodging, transportation, equipment, and uniform to ensure mission readiness.
1. To identify discrepancies and resolve database problems through Automated Personal Property Management System (APPMS).
2. Initiate Financial Liability Investigation for Property Loss (FLIPL) when equipment is damaged or lost.
3. Prepare and conduct daily brief in forms of Memorandum, excel spread sheet, or verbal communication.
4. Conduct extensive research on catalog database on property acquisition.
5. Conduct required inventory IAW the Army Regulation.
1. Distribute, receive, and maintenance of assigned weapons at the unit level.
2. Oversight of sensitive property.
