-Direct team efforts in assuring safety and Good Manufacturing Process (GMP). Ensure incidents/accidents are reported and investigated properly and follow case management process through completion.

-Direct quality efforts for the team by ensuring quality checks are done accordance to specs, run rules are followed, and all appropriate checklists are completed during shifts start and changeovers. Comply with all GMP standards and ensure adherence to all 3rd party audit requirements (BRC, and other).

-Work with teams on improving line efficiency and productivity, reducing downtime, and reducing scrap. Ensure standard wok practices are followed as well as. defined troubleshooting methods. Coach as well as address performance issues as appropriate.

-Coordinate team resource to ensure staffing of plant priority lines following published schedule and priorities . Coordinate team resources per manning tables and skills mix.

-Give direction, coordinate and lead efforts with support operations such as maintenance and tooling to keep lines operating at all times. Create maintenance work orders for work request when needed.

- Inventory: Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.

-Maintain a. clean, neat, and orderly work area following 5S standards.

-Assist setup team to get lines approved by quality control based on the spec.

-Assist on new projects and samples .

-Keep lines running with correct CPM.

-Create work orders for maintenance and follow up.

-Coach operators, setups to reduce down time on the start up.

-Able to identify if the line has a mechanical, setup or tooling problem.

-Constantly communicate with supervisors.

-Coordinate the setup team based on priorities.

-Train new setup employees.

-Determine if line need it setup or maintenance call.

-Assist with production.

-Make sure all lines are running correctly.

-Reduce scrap as much as possible.

-Working with changeovers, molds, cavities.

-Repair and trouble shoot lines until approved.

-Assisted with repairing molds, dice and punches as needed.

-Check penetration of trimpress as needed.

-Coach operators to learn basic trouble shooting.

-Responsible to operate a thermo machine.

-Make sure all products quality was within requirements.

-Learn basic trouble shooting.

-Prepared line for changeovers and starts ups.

-Assist operator preparing to start the line.

-Assist with role changes.

-Clean cavities and molds.

-Stack boxes and making combos.
