
Seasoned Airline manager with 20+ years of extensive domestic and international operational experience in all facets of the Airline industry including Ramp, GSE, FAC and Maintenance, Safety SMS, and risk management systems. · Safety Management Including Managing Processes and Programs: OSHA, FAA, EPA, DOT, SMS, FDA, Compliance Domestic/International
· Serves as key liaison with agencies including the FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, A4A, DOD, FDA, and IATA on safety issues, as well as coordinating with legal and other divisions
· Manages cross-functional teams (stations/Hubs) to implement, plan, investigate, and communicate initiatives and resolve business problems leading to a successful implementation of safety initiatives. Recognition (Emergency Response, Training Dept, Flight operations.)
· Supports team to meet project milestones, budget compliance, and progress of a project by facilitating sessions and setting expectations for all team members
· Investigates serious accidents and make recommendations to prevent further occurrences. Analyzes and reports on personal injuries. Investigates, track, trends, and report to the stations/hubs and senior management on aircraft damages and the initiatives taken to prevent future damages. Responsible for the safety compliance audits

· Manage Safety Action Teams (SAT)/Safety Meetings at stations and hubs

· Develop strategy and policies to comply with safety mandates, work in tandem with, all divisions, legal
and frontline employees
· Manage strategies and multiple initiatives in support of government mandates. Lead and work with my team and front-line employees to research solutions, solicit vendor or station participation, set direction, and manages America's tactical and strategic response to governmental agencies. Coordinates American's response based on financial outcomes and dictated timelines.

· Manage the aircraft damage and injury prevention plan for 85 stations in the international region and the Miami hub
· Conduct schedule visits to large and small international stations to evaluate airports equipment changes or flight upgrades
· Implemented the Join Safety committee for all 85 international stations including guidance on content and visibility of documents in the global.aa.com web site to monitor and evaluate progress.
· Manage crew of facilities technicians to conduct the MIA-HUB stations osha inspections and follow up to repair hazards found across the airport facilities to include GSE shops, Cargo and Hangar areas.
· Responsible for supporting Safety Manager and other station leadership in the pursuit of safety excellence and aircraft damage prevention
· Provide aircraft damage and injury prevention safety plans for Ramp operations, Cabin service, Customer service agents and Aircraft maintenance departments.
· Present injury data, coordinating the activities of Central Safety and related sub-committee structure and ensuring the quality of injury investigation and observation programs.
· Serves as the primary advisor to line organization with regards to causal trending, aircraft damage injury prevention strategies and safety investigations.
· Assist departments with OSHA related items including audits testing and identification of hazards.
· Conduct Safety audits across the American Airlines system including airports and maintenance bases TUL/ AFW.
· Trainer for the American Airlines safety management systems.
· Present new technologies to reduce and eliminate aircraft damage and injuries in the workplace.
· Safety Inspections of Ground support equipment and maintenance shops, Airport Facilities including Bag Room and high voltage equipment.
· Develop and establish the company Lock out Tag out program for FAC/GSE
· Provide technical support for airport facilities maintenance and airport ground equipment operations for all American Airlines stations
· Research, evaluate and implement new technologies to support airport services across the system
· Develop and establish the Lock out Tag out program for American Airlines
· Develop implement engineering controls for fall protection at maintenance facilities and airports
· Prepare and present financial justifications for the purchase of new ground equipment and facilities
· Create reports and cost savings analysis for new and implemented projects
· Work closely with vendors to ensure they provide a competitive environment to lower cost
· Provide training to employees in the airport service area including the implementation of vendor training on new technology's purchased by the company
