I work in the Golf Maintenance Department. Since I am still in high school I work full time there with my parents but when I start school again I only work on Saturday’s for 4 hours and if I don’t have school one day, I will go work 8 hours that day.

• I cut the crass carefully and precisely so the greens and approaches don’t look yellow in some places/so the machine doesn’t bite the longer grass next to it and looks uneven and yellow.
• I work in different positions, i cut Greens, Approaches, Tees, Fairway’s, I do the Tramps and once every 2 years when we need to add more sand to the Tramps I sometimes do it.
• Since my father is the Supervisor for the Golf Course Maintenance department I also have a lot of responsibilities as the son of the supervisor, sometimes I have to make sure my co-workers are also working and not slacking off, also I have to irrigate the whole golf course sometimes when it doesn’t rain outside or when the temperatures have been too hot for the grass.

I was working as a Cashier/Front End Services in the Jewel Osco in W Main St, Barrington.

• Assisted customers with questions regarding product
• Cross-trained in multiple areas of the store and was flexible when needed.
• Processed and shelved products from front end stations to ensure a clean and organized work environment, and to keep an adequate quantity of products on sales floor for customers.
