I shadow a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in behavioral therapy. As her assistant, I conduct initial intake assessments on patients, using a solution-focused therapy approach to help them identify and work toward their goals. I also help lead support groups for the clients who go to the family UAB Family Medicine center.
