Summary
While being a caretaker for my husband David Woods (former Villa Marie Claire volunteer featured for his work on CBS and local NJ News), a cancer patient himself, I witnessed the profound effect volunteering at a hospice center can have on patients and their loved ones. I was called to volunteer myself after the passing of my spouse and am honored to be considered for the volunteer opportunity now that the center has re-opened.
