I am currently a Brighton Police Explorer. I have been volunteering here and helping with community engagement and helping train for the future of many people. I was a base ranked explorer for a year and a half until I was promoted to the rank of Explorer Sergeant. I still have that title and have had if for now over a year. I help a lot with training materials and setting up dates and heping choose what we train on. I also help delegate all Explorers bellow me, whether it would be help with time sheets, discipline, or having someone to go to when they need help. I also regulate community events and make sure we have people to go out and help serve the community of Brighton, like in events as in, LuLus farms chili fest, the parade of lights, and summer fest, just to name a few.
I also help and attend competitions in Colorado and Arizona for our Explorer Post. Winning trophies in almost all competitions I have been to with my team. Most trophies won in July of 2022 for the LEEPAAC competition. Me and five other Explorers from Brighton where able to bring home 12 trophies, a career high for all of us.
