Telluride High School Principal's Award 2023
From Principal's announcement at Graduation:
Lastly, we come to the Principal’s Awards. For these awards, I take nominations from the faculty and select one male and one female who always went above and beyond in academics and who showed the Miner Way, commitment to community and respect for others.
It is not an easy decision to make as I feel so many of our students embody the qualities we look for. But, the two students I chose go above and beyond in almost every capacity. Both students have challenged themselves academically, are involved in the community, and always show respect and kindness.
Our male student also leads by example. He has excelled in a myriad of science classes and greets those around him with a smile. He defines perseverance and watching him grow and excel has been an honor. His kind-hearted and generous spirit is reflected in his interactions with others. His passion and determination will surely guide his future. Our male principal’s award goes to Finn Enkema.
