**Key Responsibilities:**
- Respond promptly to fire alarms, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergency calls.
- Perform firefighting duties including search and rescue, ventilation, and fire suppression using various techniques and equipment.
- Provide basic life support (BLS) care and pre-hospital emergency medical care to patients, including CPR, defibrillation, and driving/transporting patients in the ambulance.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and transport patients to medical facilities as needed.
- Participate in training and drills to maintain a high level of preparedness and proficiency in firefighting and medical response.
- Educate the public on fire prevention, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
- Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents, medical care provided, and equipment used.

-Formerly designated at the House Division to patrol at the U.S. Capitol complex, both inside and outside the buildings.

-Protected Members of Congress, Congressional staffers, visitors, guests and property
-Coordinated on traffic checkpoints, mobile patrol, security screening and investigations.
