F. John Neuhauser

Summary

I have worked for 40 years primarily in the construction and outdoor recreation industries. I have also worked various service jobs as well as some time in the commercial fishing industry. My experience in construction has spanned residential, commercial, civil and forestry projects. My experience in the ski industry started as a lowly lift operator at the age of 17, eventually working my way up to the position of an operations manager at one of the largest ski resorts in North America. Working in the ski industry both directly and peripherally has allowed me to blend my construction experience into my work in the ski industry.

During my career I have helped bring hundreds of projects to completion, dozens of which were related to ski lift construction and the development of new ski runs and mountain roads. During my time in supervisory and managerial roles I have placed strong emphasis on workplace safety, team building, quality workmanship and environmental stewardship. In my career I have had the opportunity to work with many very dynamic and knowledgeable people. It is through these relationships that I have developed my own work ethic and ability to function as part of a larger team.

Please note that due to the seasonal nature of the construction and ski industries, some of the dates of employment with various companies that I have been employed by have overlapped, sometimes by several years. This is due the fluctuation of work availability and my willingness to travel and go where the work is at any given time.
