  • Help maintain and expand the Research Tab in OncoEMR, Flatiron's proprietary EHR, in order to facilitate clinical trials in oncology. This involves full-stack development, primarily utilizing C# and React. Delivered several customer-requested features over the years, with very positive reception for each one
  • Perform backend development on Flatiron's EHR-to-EDC solution, Clinical Pipe, facilitating the submission of structured research data to clinical trial sponsors. Development mainly utilizes Node.js
  • Also run releases for the above application as part of a rotation, which involves coordination across stakeholders to ensure each release contains necessary development work and has been approved. The release process itself also requires familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure, across Jenkins and AWS
  • Develop an EHR-agnostic data capture module, in which clinical research staff can record necessary data for clinical trials. I perform full-stack development on this module, which utilizes a TypeScript frontend and backend (using React and Next.js, respectively), and PostgreSQL
  • Across both applications, led a large project to introduce the ability to transfer tumor assessment (RECIST) data from the EHR to the EDC, using OncoEMR and Clinical Pipe. Coordinated across a wide variety of stakeholders to build out this functionality
