Projects

  • Autonomous Pico-Based Robotic Car & Wireless Controller, Designed and built a robotic vehicle using a Raspberry Pi Pico and a custom Pico-based handheld controller. Implemented reliable wireless communication using radio transceiver modules for real-time control. Integrated ultrasonic sensing to enable anti-collision behavior and automatic speed reduction near obstacles. Developed cruise-control-style logic to maintain consistent motion while dynamically responding to sensor input. Completed full system wiring, debugging, and embedded firmware validation.
  • Wireless Laser Audio Receiver System, Designed and built a standalone receiver module for a laser-based wireless audio transmission system. Implemented signal reception and conditioning to recover usable audio from an optical transceiver. Integrated the receiver with a professor-provided motherboard interface for system-level evaluation. Verified signal integrity and audio quality through structured testing and troubleshooting.
  • Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) Board, Developed a VCO board for a circuits project featuring several key analog subcircuits. Implemented a voltage regulator to ensure a stable operating voltage across the board. Incorporated a latch/comparator stage for threshold detection and switching control. Used a current mirror to provide controlled biasing and current replication. Added a PWM-driven LED as a visual output indicator. Attached a potentiometer to vary the control input and observe changes in PWM behavior. Demonstrated the interaction between regulation, signal comparison, current control, and modulation within one integrated system.
  • GitLab Pipeline Project, Used GitLab to create a pipeline for code that automated functionality and compatibility testing.
  • Video Game Project, Developed a 2D video game using Java, including sprite animations, menus, responsive user interface, and a score system stored in the game's files.
  • PC Building, Assembled and designed multiple PC builds to excel at heavy graphical loads, such as gaming and engineering software.
  • Phone Controlled High Torque, High Voltage Motor, Successfully designed an Arduino project that linked a joystick on an iOS app to a large, powerful high torque motor connected to a high output lithium battery. Used in the design of a GoKart project (entire project unfinished).
