As a High School Dropout Student Mentor, my primary responsibility was to support and guide students who had discontinued their education and were seeking assistance in completing their high school education. Working in a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting educational access, I played a crucial role in assisting these students on their journey to complete their studies and achieve their academic goals.

• I provided individualized guidance to each student, understanding their unique challenges, aspirations, and learning styles.
• I worked closely with each student to assess their current knowledge and skills and determine the appropriate academic plan to help them complete their high school requirements.
• Many high school dropouts face emotional challenges, such as low self-esteem and doubts about their ability to succeed academically. As a mentor, I provided emotional support, encouragement, and motivation to help students overcome these obstacles and stay committed to their education.
• Beyond academic support, I also focused on equipping students with essential life skills and career development resources. This involved conducting workshops on job readiness, resume writing, interview skills, and exploring post-high school education or vocational opportunities.

Over the course of ten years, my husband and I wholeheartedly managed and nurtured our cherished family farm. Through unwavering dedication and hard work, we not only doubled the farm's value but also successfully sold it, achieving a remarkable feat that left us with cherished memories and a profound sense of accomplishment. Our journey on the farm taught us the value of perseverance, resilience, and the beauty of nurturing the land, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.

My role as a Education Coordinator involved overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the educational program to ensure its successful implementation and achievement of center goals.

• I supervised and supported a team of 17 teachers and assistant teachers. This involved hiring, training, and evaluating staff to ensure they were equipped to deliver high-quality services.
• I ensured the program complied with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies.
• I engaged with the community and collaborated with local organizations, schools, and agencies to build partnerships and enhance the program's impact on children and families.
• I implemented quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of service delivery in areas such as education, nutrition, and family support.
• I supported family engagement by providing resources, workshops, and opportunities for parent involvement in their child's education and development.
